I have seen these title sequences 100's of times because I watch a lot of live football and I thought I would look up the designer and present some of their work. Turns out the same designer created the last 3 title sequences for sky sports, the latest one was created using cinema 4D.

I know I Would not be able to create something anywhere near this but I thought this was relevant to my research, as it relates to the portrayal of passion and does it job in engaging the audience.

The use of football fans is common football title sequences but often in the form of footage. I am restricted to the usage of still frames so I would prefer the stills I have to be recognisable to a mass audience.

This video sequence is no different, however, once it gets going the comic book illustration style really suits the look and feel. Given that the audience for the F.A cup would be similar to mine the use of a comic book would not necessarily put off the older audience. This backs up my decision to go with an interactive sticker book as the basis of my design direction. This title sequence for ITV was art directed by Victor Martinez.
