This is a little flash animation created for ESPN. Very simple tweening using a flashing effects and a motion blur to create a sleek look. This definitely has an appeal as it looks fresh and uncomplicated and it gets straight to the point. I could use some of the techniques used here to enhance my sequence ideas.
The next video features a host of sports motion graphics. These are mainly to do with stats and ways in which they can be viewed. I particularly like the way some of the stats fly in. For example 38 seconds in is an effect I believe could work with some of my stats. The delayed motion is something I could adopt, as it effectively creates a list and brings in one thing at a time.
The movement again, is smooth and sleak, I must definitely replicate smooth and sleak movements in my animation sequence as I want the sequence to have a pure football feel. These were all designed by Liquid TV.
