Our crit signalled us to look further afield (no pun intended) at music festivals in general as we could to look to expand the campaign to a range of events. So instead of just during Glastonbury, we could also do other music festivals such as t-in the park, V, Leeds and Reading, etc. We like the idea of doing that but we also know that these other festivals don't have the same image as Glastonbury based on ethical morals. However, we I conducted some research I have found things such as Healthy-T, which is part of T-in the park, where festival goers can be healthy foods from around the world. Pitching our event near this could bring in business for both.
Events such as the one here will have an impact on people who are health conscious and people who also want to try something new.
Reading and Leeds also have environmental morals and have introduced a 10p cup recycle scheme, by where every cup that is recycled is worth 10p to the person who recycles it. They also encourage car sharing and public transport as part of their Green Leeds scheme.
