For years, I have been amazed by the wonders of kinetic typography, mainly from the many videos on youtube. Until now, I could only wish to create such a masterpiece but now I know alittle more about pacing and sequence, I am beginning to grasp the concept of key frame animation.
Youtube can be a good or a bad place to look for animation as some of the videos on there are really innovative, while others are awful. This is where composition, framing, colour, layout and pace and timing come in.
This is one of the best examples I have seen of kinetic typography I have seen. It is based on a scene from the film 'Wedding Crashers' and is based on relationships. The pacing on this I find engaging as the narrative has slow as well as fast paced moments. I love the manipulation of the type which adds to its overall appeal. This video is definitely worth the watch.
