Spatial awareness in kinetic typography

When moving ahead and developing ideas, one of the things that came up in the various talks we had was using the frame as an 3d playground rather than having typography going from side to side, what if it went back to front and vice versa. The thing I am talking about here is spatial awareness. This video that I have analysed during a workshop, using some degree of spatial awareness. The start of the video has a two dimensional feel to it but once you get into the video (00.25 onwards) the third dimension comes into play much more. I'm unsure if this is the best example of showing spatial awareness but it seemed relevant to what I want to achieve. The video itself is well organised and has smooth transitions which work together well. Although it seems simple to begin with, there is soon more complex visuals being displayed, or at least what seems complex when seen in real time.
