As a design direction I like the idea of creating a blue print style poster and including the extra details alongside the dots, like the detail on the car.

Studio Culture poster
This beautiful poster, design by spin, and released by unit editions, has inspired me during my premier league brief. I was reluctant to use helvetica but decided to reintroduce it once I saw this poster. Large pt size and tight leading is the way to go.
The Consult
Fresh form the talk with The Consult, I was particularly inspired by their branding of Stack Architects. The concept is very literal but holds its impact. The branding was carried across a whole range of deliverables, which is something I could replicate in the Helmore brief.
D8
Found this on the we are D8 blog. This publication for the Glasgow School of Art is printed on a coloured uncoated stock with vibrant spreads inside. I like the idea of offsetting type based resolutions with a mono or duotone image. I could use this for my Premier League brief. The stock really appeals to me.
Unreal
London based design agency, Unreal, have a varied portfolio, but one project sticks out for my as very original and appropriate to my design practice.
BWG Brand Guidelines by Mash Creative
Mash Creative have developed this brand guidelines document as part of a total rebrand of Black Watch Global, an intelligence and risk management consultancy. This is the best example I've seen so far of nailing a guideline book so it is easy to understand and easy to flick to the information needed. Its simple, big and bold, which is what you need as a designer when trying to find the right font or colour for a particular brief.
I have decided to split up the guidelines book I am designing into 5 small handy publications so the ease of access of information is even quicker compared to looking through a document of this size.
