Since I got my car a few years ago as a present from my parents I've always wanted to keep at in top condition, and look after so the paintwork survives a bit longer than average. I started getting into cleaning it on a regular basis. I started searching for communities and forums on the net and found 'detailing' websites. They go a little further into car cleaning and they do stuff like paint correction. After, looking at different forums I switched my choices in car shampoo, polish and wax.
The product packaging is a simple 30ml plastic tub, which would usually be used for lip balms, and body care products. The tub has a simple 1 colour sticker applied to it. This was probably achieved using digital print and laser cutter to get a perfect circle. I love the shot I took as you can make out the dots on the surface. I don't think the sticker has been sealed because this isn't any real sheen coming from the sticker apart from the stock that it is printed on. I believe this would be the best way to produce this type of product as the company is quite small, and this would be cost effective. If they were to expand the company and increase stock levels then they may well look to litho printing as a means for printing a larger number cheaper. However, due to this being a 1 colour print anyway I would expect this to be cost effective anyway. I have nothing but good things about Dodo Juice Supernatural wax, and I finally got a pot of it today in the post. I did all the usual things to my car and it came up really well. I know it's kinda sad but the design on the front looks quite cool, tribal even.
