Kate Moross

This girls work has given me such a good feeling about how I work, and what I aspire too. I dug into the archives of katemoross.com and found these little neat sketches she did for fun. This is sort of the kind of thing I want to do. Using small thumbnails to illustrate and keeping it monotone but still interesting and more important personal to me.

These won't be part of a huge advertising campaign for sure, but they do interest me, and I would love to flick through a book of them. It's something about seeing illustrations of branded things like duracell batteries and so on that intrigues me. It's a thing we all recognise and therefore we can all engage with it. Compared with a faceless human figure I'd much rather see this kind of thing.
